Data breach notification obligation
As of January 1, 2016, a data breach notification obligation applies due to an amendment to the Personal Data Protection Act (Wbp). A data breach is a breach of the security of personal data. Youth4ever uses various techniques to protect personal data and no data leaks have occurred in the past. Should a data breach occur in the future, Youth4ever will report this to the supervisory authority within 72 hours of discovery to discuss a plan of action.
Right to be forgotten
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the right to be forgotten (or the 'right to be forgotten') means that, if a consumer requests this, Youth4ever must delete his personal data in a limited number of cases. When a consumer wants to use the right to erasure of data from the AVG, the webshop is obliged to comply if:
- the consumer's personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed;
- the consumer withdraws consent to the processing of his data and there is no longer any other legal basis for the processing;
- the consumer objects to the processing and there is no other legal basis for processing the data;
- the personal data has been processed unlawfully;
- the deletion of the data is necessary to comply with legal obligations within the European Union or the Member State.
After the consumer has submitted a request for removal, we will assess and process it within four weeks. If you would like to invoke this right, please send an e-mail to info@youth4ever.nl and indicate which data you want to delete.
Youth4ever has a legitimate interest in retaining some data that we are legally obliged to keep. This concerns invoice data that are intertwined with the accounting.
